Mobile devices becoming primary mode for Internet access in BRIC marketA NEW report has suggested that mobile is becoming the primary mode of internet access in the emerging markets of Brazil, Russia, India and China. The report "BRIC Mobile: Emerging Markets Mature" by eMarketer, shows that mobile markets in Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC) have experienced surging mobile communications in recent years. Mobile communications provide consumers in these regions with a cost-effective method to connect with other individuals across great geographic expanses. The Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC) regions span large areas and populations; and they are characterised by fast-growing economies with rapidly expanding technology markets. Mobile Internet access and data usage is expected to evolve into a growth engine as 3G networks roll out across most of the Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC) footprint and as a growing number of mobile subscribers purchase smart devices. However, this evolution requires time, as many mobile users will continue using less sophisticated devices well into the middle of the decade. Mobile Marketers searching to reach a broad audience will need to focus campaigns around core, perennially popular activities. Leave your comments: |
