Significant mobile marketing spend growth expected by 2015MOBILE marketing is set for huge growth according to new research published by ABI Research, with expenditure predicted to exceed $1.2 billion by 2015.
Mobile advertising remains a marginal channel, but its various methods (messaging, search advertising, display ads, text applications and video) can provide lucrative and measurable marketing opportunities for businesses.
ABI´s practice director Neil Strother, said:"Marketers have increasingly been shifting budgets into mobile campaigns. They have been seeing year-over-year increases of 25 per cent to 30 per cent in campaign spending."
