Foursquare raises $20 million in funding

FOURSQUARE has raised $20 million in new funding that it plans to use to expand the company.

Foursquare cofounder Dennis Crowley said that the funding would also allow it to move into a new office and invest in other infrastructures.

The company has about 1.8 million users. Foursquare has been in the news quite a lot recently, after they gave out stickers for places registered on Foursquare. So you can now see where you can 'check in'.

All in all Foursquare is still one to watch, but when will it finally take off?
