The new service allows designing a personal mobile site, including picture upload and text editing with no prior experience. "In light of the astonishing pace of growth of the mobile internet across the entire population, and specifically among young adults, teens and tweens, who spend significant time on blogs and social networks," said Lior Netzer, CEO of Jag.ag. "A need arises for simple and high quality solutions similar to those available on one's PC. Our service is straightforward, works on any mobile phone, and transforms any site into a personal blog for pictures and text. It is a great tool for self expression on any phone and not just high end phones." Mobile sites can be created on a mobile phone through Cellcom's Mobile Portal or Internet Web site. The sites' domain name is based on the users phone number with the .jag.ag suffix post-pended. Once a site has been created friends can be notified via Text Messages (SMS) which include a link to the site. The service is free other than standard data charges. Leave your comments: |
