Baidu wants mobile search to match PCsTHE largest internet search engine in China, Baidu, is aiming to have the same mobile search market share as it currently enjoys in the desktop PC arena. Baidu’s General Manager for Corporate Development Tang Hesong said on Tuesday that research shows that the business has a 76 per cent share of the PC search market in China. According to research firm Analysys International, the Chinese search giant has won over 64 per cent of the country’s search market in the first quarter, an increase from 58.4 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2009.
