Yahoo signs deal with SamsungSEARCH giant Yahoo has signed an all inclusive 'search' deal with Samsung, as it seeks to make moves in the mobile internet search segment. Under the deal, Yahoo services will be made available to all Samsung mobile phones. To date, Google has enjoyed the status of number one mobile search engine, with traffic being driven in particular by the Apple iPhone. The move sees Yahoo step up its efforts in its race against Google, as Samsung is the second largest mobile phone maker in the world. Yahoo will now be looking forward to the release of the Android-based Samsung phones, whilst Samsung will benefit from offering Yahoo services like mail, service, finance, messenger and flickr.
