Call Genie partners with TDC Denmark

CALL Genie, the Canadian local mobile search and advertising solutions business, has announced that it has entered into a three year agreement to design, deploy and maintain an end-user facing directory assistance website for TDC Denmark, the leading telecommunications company in Denmark.

TDC Denmark has contracted Call Genie to develop and implement a comprehensive new database to supplement TDC’s current 118 database (comparable to “411” in North America).

The new solution from Call Genie will complement the existing data with listings from third party data sources. The database will be accessible from a website designed by Call Genie. It is anticipated that the project will be delivered in two phases through 2010, beginning with a design phase, then a development, user acceptance testing and full production deployment phase.

Call Genie will receive development and implementation fees, as well as ongoing maintenance and support fees. “TDC Denmark represents another marquee win for us in Europe,” according to Michael Durance, CEO of Call Genie Inc. “Our global business development initiatives outside of North America continue to be fruitful despite a challenging economy.”
