Novasys acquires geocentric app specialist Tridoo

SWISS-based Novasys SA, the geocentric information services business has announced the acquisition of Paris-based software company Tridoo SAS, best known for their onYourmap brand.

Tridoo specialises in online Local Search and is highly regarded for its technological know-how, performance and innovation.

Its solutions allow end users to access location based services, such as hyper-local information on websites and mobile phones. The acquisition strengthens both companies as suppliers of online geocentric services –

SaaS (Software as a Service or Cloud computing) - and will allow them to provide their clients in the field of Geolocalisation and Tracking, Local Search, Yellow Pages and Directory Assistance, with respective reinforced offers including high performing mapping, searching, hyper-local content and mobile services.
