Facebook moves into search with Q&A ServiceFACEBOOK is due to roll out Facebook Questions, a Q&A service allowing users to poll all the site’s users. The social media site had invited users to apply to join a sneak preview of Questions for some months now, but it now says that it is initially rolling out to 3-5 million users, with a broader rollout planned further down the line. The launch means that Facebook can offer a dedicated mechanism for users to poll friends – something millions of people do already using Facebook status updates. Questions won’t include Facebook’s privacy settings, so everything in is shared with everyone else on Facebook – the upside though is that it’s likely to increase page views, especially once Questions are syndicated to search engines.
