Obama a wireless hero

PRESIDENT Obama has signed a memorandum that aims to increase the wireless capacity of the US.

The President is hoping to double wireless capacity over the next ten years. Currently the flow of data is increasing by 250 per cent a year and the aim is to make 500 megahertz available.

“We are now beginning the next transformation in information technology: the wireless broadband revolution,” Obama said whilst signing the memorandum.

Currently the capacity of the mobile operators is outgrowing the wireless capacity and that balance needs to be addressed.
