People want mobile flexibility

NEW RESEARCH from Convergys has highlighted that mobile operators are actually missing out. The survey has highlighted that mobile operators are missing out on opportunities to sell new communication bundles.

Consumers are increasingly willing to ‘bundle’ broadband, TV, and even games consoles with their mobile service – so long as the provider can offer the flexible service and choice that customers demand. 

Two-thirds of UK consumers surveyed said that they would spend more if their mobile service provider gave them more flexible options.

Almost half of consumers (49 per cent) questioned said that they do not receive any promotions or offers on bundles or promotions from their service provider.

Nearly three quarters (72 per cent) would like to hear from their providers about tailored bundles and promotions. As mobile operators continue to focus on the latest technological  upgrades, they are in danger of neglecting the service available to their existing customers.
