Fonecta to acquire assets of Eniro Finland

DIRECTORY services provider Fonecta has entered into an agreement to acquire certain assets of Eniro Finland for EUR 11million.

Eniro Finland provides directory assistance services and is part of Eniro AB, the Swedish provider of search related services. Fonecta and Eniro Finland are both based in Finland.

The deal involves an upfront cash payment of EUR 1.1 million, with the remaining amount paid over a three-year period.

The deal includes offline and online business operations including the Helsinki and Pirkanmaa directories and B2C online services, such as the www.eniro.fi domain-name.

The deal is should be closed by mid-September 2010.
