Apple set to unveil new iPhone today

APPLE’s chief executive Steve Jobs is today set to unveil the new version of the iPhone, which has been rumoured for some time, after an Apple engineer left a prototype model in a bar.

A product announcement is expected at 6pm UK time this evening, from Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco.

The device could be available as early as July 17th and is believed to have new features including the ability to simultaneously run multiple apps, as is currently the case with devices running Google’s Android operating system.
