More than just a simple appleHazel RycroftTHE apple was the spark that created Isaac Newton's theory of gravity, but the modern apple is doing anything but falling from a tree. Apple has just announced that it has sold 3 million iPads. All less than three months since the device hit stores, more than 1 million a month. Apple CEO Steve Jobs said: “People are loving iPad as it becomes a part of their daily lives. We’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more people around the world, including those in nine more countries next month.” iPad sales definitely aren’t slowing down, in fact they are accelerating. When the company announced that it had sold two million devices, just 22 days ago, it seemed incredible. When the iPad goes on sale in more countries in July it seems as if the sales will rise and rise. Lets just say that Newton would not be very impressed with this apple, it might never come down to the ground, it defies gravity! Leave your comments: |
