Facebook goes global, againHazel Rycroft FACEBOOK is about to get mobile; Facebook is launching a size-zero text-only mobile site version of facebook.com called Zero. Aimed at mobile Internet users with low bandwidth connection, Facebook Zero will be a completely stripped down version of the Facebook Mobile site. Facebook Zero would be a lighter version and will not include photos that are data intensive. After recent homepage redesign, this is yet another service re-gig attempt by Facebook. Zero is set up in order to keep more people connected and offer updates faster by consuming low bandwidth. This will attract more users to join in and keep the existing users connected to the site. At this moment, the page zero.facebook.com isn't live. When accessed, that page leads to facebook.com with a notice. Once the operators agree for the interface, Facebook Zero would be available worldwide in a month or two.
