Mobile marketing helps to drive online engagement

BUSINESSES that employ mobile marketing techniques drastically improve the likelihood that clients will engage with their online campaign, new figures show.

A study by the Internet Advertising Bureau, which was based on a  
sample of 875 mobile internet users and qualitative focus groups,  
revealed that online click-through rates were 150 per cent higher  
among people that had been exposed to a related mobile advertisement. The study also showed that when people were exposed to both online and mobile advertisements, brand recognition was 43 per cent higher when compared to people who were just exposed to the online component.
